SUMMARY:Give Back Sew-In - Part 1
DESCRIPTION:As part of the CWSG Day of Service project to sew port-pads for cancer patients\, the guild will be joining the folks at Appletree Quilting Center’s Give Back Sew-In on May 24 and May 25 and June 17. Hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. A light lunch will be provided. Bring along a side dish\, if you would like to contribute. In addition to the port pads\, we will be making comfort pillows for breast cancer patients. No special sewing skills are required\, just a willingness to help. Bring your own sewing machine\, if possible. Feel free to come and go if you can’t stay for the whole time. Appletree is located at 2541 Bernadette Drive\, Columbia. All materials for making the port pads will be provided and ready for you to start sewing.
