SUMMARY:Give Back Sew-In - Part 3
DESCRIPTION:Give Back Sew-In is set for today at Appletree Quilting Center as the finale for the CWSG Day of Service project to sew port-pads for cancer patients. Hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. A light lunch will be provided. Bring along a side dish\, if you would like to contribute. In addition to the port pads\, we will be making comfort pillows for breast cancer patients. No special sewing skills are required\, just a willingness to help. Bring your own sewing machine\, if possible. Appletree is located at 2541 Bernadette Drive\, Columbia. All materials for making the port pads will be provided and ready for you to start sewing. Feel free to come and go if you can’t stay for the whole time. If you can join in the fun and service\, please email Maggie Walter at waltermr@missouri.edu so we can be ready to go.
