SUMMARY:Youth Fiber Arts Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:Youth Fiber Art Exhibition  \nSponsored by Columbia Weavers and Spinners’ Guild (CWSG) \nThe Youth Fiber Art Exhibition is a fun and creative program designed to encourage the instruction of fiber art skills to area children. Students create a fiber art project as part of their regular art classes or clubs. Art pieces will be judged using the following criteria: visual impact\, interpretation and creativity\, composition\, design\, and craftsmanship. Prizes will be awarded to students in each school. Art projects will be picked up by a guild member to be displayed at the Boone Electric Community Building. Columbia Art League. All participating students\, parents\, and teachers are invited to the opening reception. Award winning work will be displayed in the Columbia Art League gallery following the show. Join us as we celebrate our Young Fiber Artists.   We will have two nights of viewing and sharing with the community and families this year.  Please join us at Boone Electric Cooperative one of these two evenings. This event is open to the public.
