Guild members can participate in one or more study groups, which are smaller groups of members with similar fiber interests such as weaving, spinning and knitting. Members help each other learn skills and expand interests in each area. You do not need to already have a particular skill to join a study group. Most groups meet monthly. Study groups vary from year to year, depending on the interests of the members.

The Designing Weavers study group focuses on weaving in a variety of formats, such as rigid heddle, tapestry, off-loom, card weaving and even 4-shaft floor loom weaving. We also like to take a road trip or two throughout the year and are big on just socializing. We meet the second Tuesday of each month, time and location varies. Meeting dates, sites and topics are always announced in The Tie-Up.
