Program at 7 PM. Program will be “Basic Book Making” with Nancy Elliott and Cheri Robinette.  In this program Nancy and Cheri will share their techniques of holding books together.  An introduction to basic techniques and an opportunity to practice for yourself will be presented. Members will come away with one or two very simple structures that are the basis for making many kinds of books.  Supplies will be provided.

Art Quilt Artist Jean Hermann via Zoom 

Jean will discuss her process and show us her wonderful Art Quilts. Creating fiber art that sings of enjoying life, travel, people, mountains and cities.  Jean’s home is Denver, Colorado.  Her art quilts often depict people captured in the moment: conversation, playing music and enjoying life.  Her website is jeanherman.com.

Program at 7 PM. Mixed Media Artist Lisa Hinrich will share her work with us in person. Lisa Hinrichs is a fiber and mixed media artist living in St. Louis, MIssouri.  She has mastered felt making, dye techniques, painting and other fiber processes, studying with some of the most talented teachers in the field over many years.  Her work is exhibited locally and nationally and has been included in various Fiber Art publications. Lisa holds a BS in Housing and Interior Design from the University of Missouri-Columbia and later studied Graphic Design at SLCC. While she has moved on from earlier careers in architecture and graphic design, her love of a well designed structure or elegantly composed page find their way into her current work.
